MALAYSIAN ACCESS FORUM BERHAD (MAFB)
MAFB was established to facilitate the development and growth of the Malaysian communications and multimedia industry by inter alia promoting industry self-regulation, while liaising with governmental and non-governmental bodies on access and interconnection issues and supporting the national policy objectives as set out in the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 (“CMA”) in relation to the communications and multimedia industry.
MESSAGE FROM CHAIRMAN
Members are encouraged to use MAFB as a platform for creating a “win-win” environment in the industry, and can benefit from the relationship established in the forum to negotiate and understand each other needs and requirements … Industry Business Dialogue, 30th September 2004 |
We want MAFB to be the platform for the industry to develop a Voluntary Access Code as a term of reference or code of conduct that can benefit the industry and the national interest of the country |
The Voluntary Access Code must be fair and must take care of the interest of all parties regardless of their size and market position and must consider the overall interest of communications and multimedia industry and most importantly the long term interest of the end user …. Access Code Workshop, 1st October 2004 |
